Win 95, 98, 00, and NT 1:
When you first insert the CD, if you have autorun enabled, it will start 1:
Do step #4 and "RIGHT CLICK and HOLD" the mouse button The
CAPS program is the file called SETUP.EXE in the VIEWERS

LINUX Installation This
has been tested on RED HAT LINUX, as well as CALDERA 1: Make a temporary directory to hold the Acrobat install files > mkdir acroinst (example temp directory name) 2:
Mount your CD-ROM (type "man mount" for more info on mounting) 3: From your TEMP directory (in this case, /acroinst/ ) type; /acroinst/> tar zxvf /mnt/cdrom/VIEWERS/LINUX/ACROREAD_LINUX_301_TAR.Z 4:
Do an "ls" to make sure that there are files in this directory
now, /acroinst/> ./INSTALL 5:
Follow the instructions, and install in the default Acrobat directory. > /usr/local/Acrobat3/bin/acroread 7:
This will hopefully bring up ACROBAT READER. From here, it's A
little harder, but possible! Create a symbolic link or script to
Windows 3.1x WHAT! Your still on this!?!? :) Don't worry, most of the CD works! Go to this directory [YOUR CDROM LETTER]:\viewers\Win3x and run the file rs16e301.exe
Macintosh/PPC I
personally have never installed either CD on this platform, but
[YOUR CDROM]\VIEWERS\MAC
ARWS301E_SEA.BIN
