Hello my name is Sam, I am a new member to Club DSM. I purchased my 1997 Eclipse GSX in November 1999. The car is fully equipped except for the CD changer and splash guards. Shortly afterwards I discovered Club DSM and thoroughly read the input from other members as they upgraded or modified their cars. Besides knowing about the turbocharged motor and AWD I had no clue of the potential of this little pocket-rocket!
At first I was a little apprehensive about modding a car with only 23k miles but with the help of other DSMers any issues or questions that I had were quickly answered. The members also provide reasons for their answers and rarely do you find a member who doesn't care or does things just to do them no matter what the consequences might be. I have witnessed first hand that the owners are as unique as the cars that they drive.
